Everybody is after gold-bearing material scrap and e-waste in particular, since gold is a very expensive metal. This race has caused a lot of competition among the gold recyclers. And the price of gold-containing scrap has gone much higher than it was before. One very important thing about precious metal recovery is that the scrap dealers hardly care for silver-containing material, and they sell it for a cheap price. This is an opportunity that you can seize. So, you make more money by recycling silver-containing components than you do by recycling gold-containing electronic scrap. So, better concentrate on silver recycling if you want to make more money. Another important aspect is that recovering silver from e-scrap is not as tough as recovering gold.
