Gold Recovery from Motherboards Computers & Laptops | Recycle Electronic Devices for Gold | Gold Recovery from Chips

Recycling motherboards is a profitable business. We have gold-plated connectors, monolithic ceramic capacitors, tantalum capacitors, copper transistors, aluminium condensers, aluminium heat sinks, normal chips, BGA chips, solder, brass pins, etc. on motherboards. We get gold, silver, palladium, tantalum, brass, copper, iron, solder (an alloy of tin and lead), and nickel from motherboards. First of all, we need to remove all the components from the motherboards. We accomplish this by circulating hot air through a motor-driven, perforated drum. All the components are segregated after their removal from the PCBs. There are two types of chips on motherboards: normal chips and BGA chips. BGA chips (which Intel and AMD make) contain 6.5 to 7 grammes of gold. Normal chips are of two types: PQFP and PLCC packages. PQFP chips contain 1.25 to 1.5 grammes of gold per kilo. PLCC chips contain 700 to 800 milligrammes of gold per kilo. Gold-plated connectors have 25 to 100 milligrammes of gold on them. The depopulation process removes the solder from the PCBs. Different processes, such as cyanidation, electrolysis, cupellation, and chemical leaching, are used to recover gold and other precious metals from the segregated components. How to Recover Gold from Computer Parts-Ram Gold Fingers | Gold Recovery from Computer Parts

When we say computer parts, we mean motherboards, RAMs, hard drives, add-on cards, processors, power supplies, fans, monitors, etc. Today, we will discuss gold recovery from rams' gold fingers. Gold fingers are the gold-plated columns you see along the connecting edges of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Aqua regia can be used to recover gold from gold fingers. Cut off the gold fingers from the PCBs. Prepare Aqua Regia; it is one part nitric acid and three parts hydrochloric acid. Put the golden fingers into the heat-resistant glass beaker and pour aqua regia onto them till they are completely immersed in the solution. The aqua regia will dissolve both copper and gold. The gold is coated with a layer of copper. Give it some time to dissolve all the gold. Separate the solution from the PCB pieces, then filter it. Neutralise the solution with urea. Precipitate gold with sodium metabisulfite (SMB). If you have an inquiry about something, you can write to us using the contact form available on our blog. Warning! Gold Recovery from Sim Cards Cell Phones | Sim Cards Cell Phones Recycling for Gold | Gold Recovery

It is quite easy to recover gold from cell phones' SIM cards. You need to burn them first. But be careful; do it in an open space because burning SIM cards will produce a lot of smoke. You can get rid of that smoke if you burn them in an oven. And make sure that you burn each and every SIM card if you want 100 percent gold recovery out of them. Once the burning process is complete, allow it to cool for approximately 30 minutes. Now prepare the Aqua Regia solution: nitric acid in one part and hydrochloric acid in three parts. Stir the solution with a glass rod. Use only heat-resistant glass beakers for this. Put all your burnt stuff into the beaker first, and then pour AR solution onto it according to the requirement. There will be a strong reaction in the beaker. Because the metals, including gold, will dissolve in the AR solution. Keep away from the beaker for a while because the reaction produces harmful fumes. It's better if you do it under a fumehood. Stir the material in the solution until it completely dissolves all the metals. Leave it for about an hour. Filter the solution and neutralise it with urea. Sodium metabisulfite is used to precipitate the gold. If you have an inquiry about something, you can write to us using the contact form available on our blog. How to Recover Gold from Cell Phone Motherboard Chips | Gold Recovery | Recycling E-waste

I have seen videos of people removing components from cell phones' motherboards and other types of electronic circuit boards with the help of a chisel and hammer. That's so much time-consuming, and you can't process bulk quantity through this method. if you are serious about this business and want to progress fast, you must first understand its nature. Until some years ago the profit margin was high, but now it is only up to 15% on a small scale. Because so many people are attracted to this line on account of gold and other precious metals recovery. And so, the competition is increasing day by day. So, your profit depends on careful purchasing of the raw material and its processing cost. As for removing the components from the circuit boards, you may use a solder-stripper. These days we can easily get a solder stripper in the market that doesn't attack other metals such as copper and nickel etc. It is available at an affordable price. You can prepare the solder-stripper yourself also. So, for gold recovery, you first need to remove the components with a solder stripper. These circuit boards contain precious metals such as gold, silver, and palladium, etc.., but in this article, we will discuss gold extraction only. For this, first of all, we need to burn the chips in an environmentally friendly way. The chips are ground into a fine powder after burning. And in the third step, metal is separated from the ash using a sieve. There are many ways to recover gold from the separated metals, but I would like to mention only two processes here. In the first method gold is leached with chemicals and then refined. Another method is to melt the metals into an ingot and recover gold through electrolysis. The second part of this article will deal with the recovery of metals such as silver and palladium. You can write to us through the contact form available on our blog If you want to learn the gold extraction process in detail. Warning! The reproduction of all or part of this article in any form is strictly prohibited. This is Part-1, and Part-2 of this article is coming soon.

How to Recover Gold from CPUs | Recycling CPUs | Gold Recovery from Computer Parts-E-Waste

The Best Method for Gold Recovery from CPUs
Gold recovery from CPUs is a very hot topic. Everybody seems to be interested in extracting gold from processors. You can find so many videos about it on YouTube. And almost every video deals only with the Aqua Regia Gold Recovery Method. There are other methods that are also more effective than the aqua regia gold recovery process. They are less time-consuming and give you a complete gold recovery. We have a non-cyanide and non-acid gold extraction process as well. It will take a lot of time to mention those methods here. So, if you are interested in methods other than aqua regia, please write to us through our contact form available on our blog. We will help you out.

Gold Recovery / The gold recovery business from e-waste/E-waste Recycling

These days, the gold recovery business from e-waste is a hot topic on the internet. Almost everyone seems to be interested in this gold extraction business. There are many YouTube videos on this subject. E-waste is a good source of gold. It is also known as an urban gold mine. People normally assume that we only get gold from computers, but this is not true. Any device or machine that uses electronic circuits can be a source of gold, be it a medical device, a car, an aeroplane, a mobile phone, etc. There are many methods for gold recovery, be it from computers or any other kind of electronic scrap. Let's try to understand it a little more deeply. An electronic circuit board is made up of many components. The use of components on the electronic circuit board depends on their function. In general, an electronic circuit board consists of the following components: 1-Chips 2-Diodes 3-Transistors 4-Capacitors 5-Presets 6-Transistors 7-Resistors 8-Gold-plated connectors 9-Mlccs 10-Relays 11-Diodes 12-Transformers 13-Processors 14—Led, etc. These components usually contain silver, gold, and palladium. And some of the components (such as chips) have all three metals. We can't recover all the metals from all the components through one process. We must use various methods to recover different metals from the components. For example, we need to apply two different methods for gold recovery from chips and processors. Gold recovery from chips includes the following steps: 1. incineration of chips 2: Grinding of burnt chips 3-Separation of the metallic pins from the ash (obtained after burning and grinding the chips) 4-This ash is either treated with chemicals for gold recovery or melted into an ingot for electrolysis. This is a very vast topic. So, if you are interested in gold recovery, you may reach us through our contact form available on our blog.

Gold Recovery from Cell Phones/Gold Extraction from Cell Phones/Gold from Mobile Phones

Gold extraction from mobile phones is a profitable business, but you have to take into consideration certain aspects before going into it, and that is that we need to understand that mobile phones are available in different price ranges. Famous brands such as Apple, Nokia, and Sony Ericsson are expensive, while local Chinese brands are cheaper. In India, cheap mobile phones are referred to as Chinese phones. Normally, a cheap, new Chinese cell phone sells for around USD 70 to 80. Now the point that I am trying to make here is that expensive mobile phone manufacturers use more gold on their phones, whereas cheap phone manufacturers use very little gold. In the Indian electronic scrap markets, the famous brands scrapped cell phones currently sell for Indian rupees 62 to 64 (USD.83 to.85) per piece. The scrapped Chinese cell phones sell for rupees 18 to 22 (USD 24 to 29) per piece. Today, the price of gold (in New Delhi, India) is Rs 48,700 per 10 grams. Purchasing the raw material at the right price is very important in a business. So, make sure that you distinguish between expensive and cheaper cell phones while buying scrap mobile phones. I can assure you that the cell phone gold recovery business will pay you well if you read the whole series of our articles on it. We'll be back soon with the second part of the mobile phone gold recovery.
